Free participatory workshops

Participatory embroidery

Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, visitors are invited to take part in a participatory embroidery workshop. This workshop takes place in la Galerie du 19M, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., from June 9th until July 16th.

The sessions:
Thursdays and Fridays with the Maisons Montex and Lesage.
Saturday with Maisons Lemarié, Montex and Lesage.

The result: a monumental piece, inspired by the map of the northern Parisian territory where le19M is located, on the border between Paris and Aubervilliers.

Free access, subject to availability.

Discover vegetable weaving

This participatory workshop was designed by designer Emma Bruschi, winner of le19M Métiers d’art prize of the Hyères International Fashion & Photography Festival in 2019, and the textile department of Maison Lesage.

Every Wednesday and Saturday, from June 8th to July 16th (except Wednesday June 29th), all visitors are invited to discover the gestures and techniques that make a hand woven textile from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Free access, subject to availability.

About Emma Bruschi:
“I am inspired in the creation of my pieces of clothing by  the rural and agricultural environment, the worker's cloakroom, the fauna and flora and all the know-how that results from it. My goal is to cultivate the land and work with my own materials: combine the work of a farmer and a designer” explains Emma Bruschi. ‟The use of this ‘living’ material is also a way of raising awareness among participants on the role of natural resources in creative innovation and sustainable fashion.”
